The Diocese of Clogher ( Latin Dioecesis Clogheriensis , Irish Deoise Chlochair , English Diocese of Clogher ) is a Roman Catholic diocese located in Northern Ireland and Ireland (Éire) with its seat in Monaghan .

history

The diocese of Clogher was established in 454 by Pope Leo the Great . 1152 the diocese of Clogher was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Armagh as a suffragan .
