The Roman Catholic Diocese of Kilmore ( Latin Dioecesis Kilmorensis , Irish Deoise na Cille moire , English Diocese of Kilmore ) is in Ireland situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Cavan . Its territory largely coincides with the historical kingdom of Bréifne .

The Diocese of Kilmore was established in the 5th century. 1152 the Diocese of Kilmore was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Armagh as a suffragan .
