Damian Fender (born September 12, 1991 ) is a Polish natural track luge . He and Dawid Jachnicki won the bronze medal in the doubles at the 2009 European Junior Championship and took part in World Cup races in the 2006/2007 and 2009/2010 seasons.

Career

Fender first took part in single-seater races in the Intercontinental Cup in the 2005/2006 season. At the Polish Championships he achieved third place in the doubles with Tobiasz Pieszko that same winter . By 2010 there were two third places in the doubles as well as two second and two third places in the team competition in the national championships. In the 2006/2007 season started Fender in the World Cup . In the single-seater he took part in three of the six races of the season, was disqualified once and was placed in the rear midfield twice. In the two-seater he started together with Dawid Jachnicki in a World Cup race, which he finished third from last in 14th place. In the next two years there were no further World Cup starts, but appearances in the Intercontinental Cup again, both in single and double seater.

From 2008 to 2010 Fender took part in international junior championships. After finishing 17th in the single-seater at the Junior World Championships in Latsch in 2008 due to a failure in the doubles with Szymon Kubik , he won the bronze medal in the doubles with Dawid Jachnicki at the 2009 European Junior Championships in Longiarü . He finished the single-seater competition in 14th position. At the Junior World Championship in 2010 he remained without a result after a failure in the single-seater.

In the 2009/2010 season , Fender took part in World Cup races again. In his two starts in the single-seater he achieved two placements in midfield as 26th and 27th, while he came in ninth place in his only start in the doubles with Dawid Jachnicki as penultimate. Fender did not take part in any competitions in the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 seasons.
