Natural Track Junior World Championships 2010
The 7th FIL - Natural Track Luge Junior World Championship took place from January 29th to 31st, 2010 in Deutschnofen in South Tyrol ( Italy ). After the training runs on Friday, the decisions in the two-seater and single-seater competitions were made on Saturday and Sunday. 55 athletes from ten countries ( Bulgaria , Germany , Italy, Austria , Poland , Romania , Russia , Slovenia , South Korea and Ukraine ) took part in the races. The Italians Hannes Clara and Evelin Lanthaler were junior world champions in single-seater, while the title in doubles went to Austrians Thomas Kammerlander and Christoph Regensburger .

The men's single-seater competition was won by the Italian Hannes Clara with the fastest times in all three rounds . Silver went to his compatriot Alex Gruber and bronze to the Austrian Thomas Kammerlander . Of 31 registered and started tobogganers, 30 were included in the evaluation.

In the women's singles, all medals went to the host country Italy. The gold medal was won by Evelin Lanthaler with the best times in all three races, silver went to Alexandra Obrist , who achieved the second-best time in each case, and bronze to Andrea Vötter with the third-fastest time. Of the 17 registered tobogganers, 16 took part in the decision and 15 were included in the evaluation.

The Austrians Thomas Kammerlander and Christoph Regensburger became junior world champions in doubles with the best times in both rounds . The brothers Dominik and Dieter Apolloner , also from Austria, won silver and the Russians Pawel Silin and Iwan Rodin won bronze . All nine registered and started two-seater pairs were included in the ranking.
