Swetlana Gennadjewna Scharawina ( Russian Светлана Геннадьевна Жаравина ; born May 3, 1991 ) is a Russian natural track tobogganist . She took part in world cup races and international junior championships for the first time in the 2009/2010 season .

Career

Swetlana Sharavina took part in her first and only World Cup race in the 2009/2010 season on December 20, 2009 . In Novouralsk , Russia , she finished eighth among eleven starters. Five weeks later, she participated in the 2010 Junior World Championship in Nova Ponente . There she achieved ninth place out of 15 rated female tobogganists. The next winter, Sharavina's only international competition was the European Junior Championships 2011 in Lasa . She came in sixth as the best Russian woman.

In 2012, Schwarawina took part in the European Championships in Novouralsk, where she finished 13th out of 16 rated female tobogganists. Immediately before the World Cup, she also took part in the World Cup race in Novouralsk, her only one in the 2011/2012 season . She came tenth out of 15 participants.
