In his next World Cup race in Longiarü , however, he only came in 43rd and was 49th overall. In the 2007/2008 season , Marjan Husner took part in all six World Cup races, both in the singles and with Jewhen Prysjaschnjuk in the doubles, but mostly only achieved placements in the bottom field in both disciplines. In the single-seater, he finished 28th in Umhausen and 30th in Moos in Passeier twice in the top 30 and was 35th in the overall World Cup. In the two-seater Prysjaschnjuk / Husner came in tenth place once and eleventh place five times, with which they achieved ninth place overall among 18 pairs of two-seater with two points ahead of their compatriots Vitaly Sakharov and Ihor Senjuk . In the same winter Marjan Husner started for the first time in title fights and took 29th place in the single-seater at the European Championship 2008 in Olang , but only 14th and last place in the doubles-seater with Prysjaschnjuk. At the Junior World Championships 2008 in Latsch Husner only crossed the finish line in a single-seater third from bottom, and also at the Junior European Championships in 2009 in Longiarü, he was only third from last.

In the 2008/2009 season , Marjan Husner did not start in the doubles, but only competed in the single. He dropped out once at his four World Cup starts and narrowly missed the top 30 three times, which meant 42nd place in the overall World Cup. At the 2009 World Championships in Moos in Passeier, he was just behind his World Cup results and finished 34th. In the 2009/2010 season , Husner took part in four World Cup races in the single-seater, as in the previous year, and was able to improve slightly. This time he made it into the top 30 three times, with his best results being two 28th places in the first two races in Nowouralsk . In the overall World Cup he reached 33rd place and was the best placed Ukrainian for the first time. Husner also took part in two world cup races in a two-seater. In the first race of the season he started with Ihor Senjuk , but dropped out in the first race, and in the fourth race of the season with Stepan Irschak , he only came in 12th and last place. At the 2010 European Championships in St. Sebastian he started in the doubles with Andrij Tolopko ; however, the two were disqualified in the first run. In the single-seater, Marjan Husner took 28th place as the best in his country. In the team competition he was in the single and double with Andrij Tolopko at the start and finished ninth among ten teams with the second single, Julija Melnyk . At the Junior World Championships 2010 in Nova Ponente , he finished 21st in the singles and together with Stepan Irschak he finished seventh in the doubles.

In the 2010/2011 season , Husner only competed in a single-seater. At the beginning he achieved his best results so far in the World Cup in Novouralsk with places 22 and 21. He only finished penultimate in the relatively small field. After not taking part in the next two World Cup races, he came under the fastest 25 twice at the end of the season, which improved him to 24th place in the overall World Cup. At the 2011 World Cup in Umhausen , he was the best Ukrainian and came 28th in the single-seater. A week later he finished 21st at the European Junior Championships 2011 in Laas . In the 2011/2012 season , Husner and Andrij Tolopko again regularly took part in the doubles competitions in the World Cup. With placements just behind the top 10, however, they mostly only crossed the finish line at the end of the field. They finished eleventh in the overall World Cup. In the single-seater, Husner's best World Cup results of the winter were 25th in the opening race in Latzfons and 23rd in the final in Umhausen. In the overall World Cup he was 27. At the European Championships 2012 in Nowouralsk, Husner was 26th out of 31 tobogganers in a single-seater.
