Peter Mikuš (born January 10, 1985 in Trenčín , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with HC České Budějovice in the Czech extra league since 2011 .

Career

Peter Mikuš began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of HC Dukla Trenčín , for whose professional team he was active in the Slovak extra league from 2003 to 2009 . During this period, the defender was also used for the second team of Dukla Trenčín, as well as the ŠHK 37 Piešťany and HK 95 Považská Bystrica in the second-class first division . He spent the 2009/10 season at Trenčín's league rivals HC Košice , with whom he immediately became Slovak champion .

For the 2010/11 season Mikuš was obliged by Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk from the Continental Hockey League , but was released again in late November 2010. A week later he was committed by BK Mladá Boleslav from the Czech extra league, with whom he achieved relegation at the end of the season. For the 2011/12 season he moved within the Czech extra league to HC České Budějovice .

International

For Slovakia , Mikuš took part in the U20 World Junior Championship in 2005 . He prepared two goals in six games.
