One Museum Park is the name of a skyscraper in Chicago . The building was built between 2005 and 2009 and is 223 meters high. This makes the building the tallest in the city outside of the Chicago Loop until One Grant Park is completed . Furthermore, the One Museum Park is one of the tallest residential buildings in the city and in the USA , because all of the 62 floors of the skyscraper are used for residential purposes. There are a total of 289 apartments on the 62 floors. Architecturally, the building is characterized by several downgrades at different heights. The edges of the structure are generously rounded. The structure of the skyscraper is made entirely of reinforced concrete , while the facade was clad with blue shimmering glass panes.
