Dawid Jachnicki (born March 13, 1991 ) is a Polish natural track luge . Together with Damian Fender, he won the bronze medal in the doubles at the 2009 European Junior Championship and took part in World Cup races in the 2006/2007 and 2009/2010 seasons.

Career

Jachnicki first took part in single-seater races in the Intercontinental Cup in the 2005/2006 season. In the 2006/2007 season he started in the World Cup . In the single-seater, he took part in three of the six races of the season and achieved placements in the lower midfield with results just under the top 30. In the doubles, he started together with Damian Fender in a World Cup race, which he finished third from last in 14th place. In the next two years there were no further World Cup starts, but appearances in the Intercontinental Cup again, both in single and double seater.

At the Polish Championships Jachnicki achieved two third places in the two-seater with Damian Fender in the winter of 2007 and the first podium places in the team competition. In the next two years, three second places followed, one in the doubles with Adam Jędrzejko and two in the team competition. Jachnicki only took part in international junior championships once: at the 2009 European junior championships in Longiarü he and Damian Fender won the bronze medal in the doubles and was 16th in the singles.

In the 2009/2010 season , Fender will start again in the World Cup. However, he only took part in the World Cup races in Umhausen and achieved 30th place among 42 rated tobogganers in the single-seater and ninth place among ten double-seater pairs with Damian Fender in the double-seater. In the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 seasons he did not take part in any competitions.
