Career

Adam Jędrzejko took part in international junior championships from 2003 to 2007. His best results were eleventh place in the singles at the Junior European Championship 2007 in St. Sebastian and fifth place in the doubles with Piotr Kobza at the Junior World Championships 2006 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In the 2003/2004 season , the then 16-year-old competed in his first two World Cup races , finished 26th twice and finished 40th in the overall ranking. Since the winter of 2004/2005 he has competed regularly in the World Cup. In his first full season he was among the fastest 20 in three of the six races, with his best results being two 17th places in Oberperfuss , making him 18th in the overall World Cup as the second-best Pole. At the 2005 World Championships in Latsch , too , he was the second-best Pole in a single-seater with 23rd place. At the end of winter, he and Piotr Kobza also took part in a world cup race in a two-seater for the first time. At the World Cup finals in Olang , they came ninth out of eleven rated pairs, which ultimately meant 19th and last place in the overall standings. In the 2005/2006 season Jędrzejko and Kobza took part in two more World Cup races in doubles. In Olang they were twelfth (out of 14 pairs) and seventh (out of seven pairs) at the World Cup finals in Oberperfuss. That meant eleventh place in the overall World Cup. In the single-seater Jędrzejko took part in four of the six World Cup races this winter, he skipped the two races in the Canadian Grande Prairie . His best results were two 18th places in the first race in Longiarü and in the last race in Oberperfuss. In the overall standings he fell back to 24th place, but was, as in the previous year, the second-best Pole in the overall single-seater World Cup after Damian Waniczek . At the 2006 European Championships in Umhausen , he achieved 27th place in single-seater immediately behind Waniczek and, together with Piotr Kobza, eleventh place in double-seater.

Since the 2006/2007 season , Jędrzejko only competes in single-seater international competitions. This winter he drove in five of the six World Cup races under the fastest 20 and achieved his best position to date with 15th place in the opening race in Latsch . In the overall World Cup, like two years earlier, he achieved 18th place. At the beginning of the 2007/2008 season Jędrzejko managed again a 15th place in the opening race in Moos in Passeier . In the other five World Cup races he was never worse than 19th, which means he was able to improve by one place to 17th place in the overall World Cup. This made him the best in his country for the second time in a row. Jędrzejko was not only successful in the World Cup, but also in national and international championships. After he was already three times second behind Damian Waniczek, Jędrzejko won the Polish championships in 2007 for the first time . In 2008 he was again second behind Waniczek. In the doubles, Jędrzejko reached the Polish Championships from 2005 to 2007 with Piotr Kobza three times and in 2008 with Dawid Jachnicki also second place , behind the world-class doubles Andrzej Laszczak and Damian Waniczek. At the 2007 World Championships in Grande Prairie , Jędrzejko drove as the best Pole in 17th place in the single-seater and together with Kinga Gawlas and the Laszczak / Waniczek doubles in fifth place in the team competition; at the 2008 European Championships in Olang he was 20th in the singles.

In the 2008/2009 season Jędrzejko started in four World Cup races, in the last two in Novouralsk , Russia , he did not take part. Again he finished in the top 20 in all races, but fell back to 21st place in the overall World Cup. In the next winter he only did not take part in the World Cup race in Latzfons . Otherwise he always achieved placings around 20th place and was thus 20th in the overall World Cup, tied with the Russian Juri Talych . At the 2009 World Championships in Moos in Passeier, Adam Jędrzejko finished in 19th place and at the 2010 European Championships in St. Sebastian in 20th place, both as the best Pole. In the team competition, together with Natalia Waniczek and doubles Laszczak / Waniczek, he finished fifth at the 2009 World Cup and sixth at the 2010 European Championship. In 2010 Jędrzejko became Polish champion in single-seater for the second time , after finishing second for the fifth time last year. In the two-seater he came third in 2009 with Alan Wnuk for the fifth time in 2010, behind Andrzej Laszczak and Damian Waniczek.

Jędrzejko was able to improve noticeably in the 2010/2011 World Cup season . He was never worse than 18th and reached 13th place in the final in Olang, his best result in a World Cup race so far, with which he achieved 14th place in the overall World Cup as the best in his country. At the 2011 World Championships in Umhausen, he was - again as the best Pole - 16th in the single-seater and eighth in the team competition together with Wioletta Ryś and the Laszczak / Waniczek doubles. At the Polish Championships 2011 he won the single-seater competition for the third time; in the two-seater he was third with Alan Wnuk. In the 2011/2012 season Jędrzejko was able to improve further. In three races he achieved top 10 placements in the World Cup for the first time, with his best results being two ninth places in Železniki and Deutschnofen . In the overall World Cup, he improved to twelfth place. At the 2012 European Championships in Novouralsk, he achieved his best European and World Cup result in single-seater with 13th place. In the team competition he was eighth together with the doubles Laszczak / Waniczek and the Slovenian Petra Dragičevič .
