Natural Track Luge Junior European Championship
At the natural track tobogganing junior European championship , the junior European champions in natural track tobogganing have been determined in the disciplines single-seat women, single-seat men and double-seaters since 1974 . The Junior European Championship is organized by the International Luge Federation (FIL) and was held annually until 1996. Since then, it has alternated with the Natural Track Luge Junior World Championship, which was held for the first time in 1997, and thus alternates with the Natural Track Luge European Championship . Eligible are athletes who are between 15 and 20 years of age in the year of the event. Up to 2013, 32 Junior European Championships had taken place in nine countries, most often in Austria (11 ×) and in Italy (9 ×). Most of the gold medals went to these two countries, 46 to Italy and 39 to Austria.
