Andreas Gruber (born June 28, 1984 in Brixen ) is an architect and a former Italian natural track luge . He was European Junior Champion in 2003 and World Junior Champion in singles in 2004 . Andreas Gruber studied architecture in Innsbruck and Florence parallel to his sporting activity. Today he works as a freelance architect. In addition to property planning, also an expert in implementation planning (settlement planning), urban planning and ensemble protection. He leads seminars and works as a specialist jury member in planning competitions. For him, quality means innovative, progressive building culture that has its roots in tradition. An architecture of values and the sustainable use of resources.
In the 2002/2003 season Gruber contested his first World Cup race in Hüttau, which he finished in ninth place. In the 2003/2004 season he took part in three World Cup races, with his best result being seventh in the parallel competition in Triesenberg . In the overall World Cup he finished 19th. After this winter Gruber ended his international career, but in 2007 he was still at the start at the Italian championships.
