Darja Wladimirowna Malejewa ( Russian Дарья Владимировна Малеева ; born June 1, 1995 ) is a Russian natural track tobogganist . She first took part in World Cup races in the 2011/2012 season .

Career

Malejewa had her first international appearance at the 2011 European Junior Championships in Lasa , where she was tenth. Two weeks earlier she was registered for a World Cup race in Kindberg , but she did not start. Malejewa then entered the World Cup at the beginning of the 2011/2012 season . After she had not qualified for the actual World Cup race at the start of the season in Latzfons , but had to start in the Nations Cup, which was held for the first time, she finished twelfth in midfield a week later in Olang . With these two races she was 25th in the overall World Cup. At the Junior World Championships 2012 in Latsch , she achieved fifth place.
