Klymene (daughter of Minyas)
Klymene ( Greek Κλυμένη ), daughter of Minyas , is a figure in Greek mythology .
She was the wife of Phylakos or his brother Cephalos ; the marriage gave birth to Iphiklos and Alkimede , the mother of Jason . From Iasos , the son of Lycurgus , Clymene is said to have become the mother of Atalante .
Hesiod also mentions her as the mother of Phaeton , which, however, overlaps with the legend of the Oceanid Klymene of the same name .
