Knattebrauta ( Norwegian for ledge overhang are) a number Nunatakker in East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Sverdrupfjella they rise up with a northeast-southwest orientation 6 km north of the Robinheia .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939) under the direction of polar explorer Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who also named them descriptively, mapped them using geodetic surveys and aerial photographs of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (NBSAE, 1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
