Knut Reiersrud (* 12. February 1961 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian Blues - guitarist and singer . In his music he uses elements of traditional Norwegian music and African rhythms. Music critics particularly appreciate his collaboration with the Norwegian organist Iver Kleive . Since 2015 he has been the sideman of the Norwegian singer Solveig Slettahjell .
In addition to the guitar , Reiersrud has also mastered the following musical instruments: harmonica , mandolin and the oud .
