Knut Tagliaferri

Knut Tagliaferri (born March 21, 1935 ) is a former German football player .

Tagliaferri played for SG Baienfurt since he was a child . In 1953 he moved to VfB Friedrichshafen and left the Tagliaferri after a season to join VfB Stuttgart . He made his debut on September 11, 1955 at the home game against FSV Frankfurt in the center-forward position in the football Oberliga Süd and won the runner-up in the south with VfB. In the final round of the German soccer championship in 1956 he came against the competitors TuS Neuendorf, Borussia Dortmund, Hamburger SV and Viktoria 1889 Berlin to six missions and scored three goals. In 1958 he won the DFB Cup with the Stuttgart team , but was not used in the semi-finals and the final. In the 1957/58 season that preceded the cup victory, Tagliaferri was VfB Stuttgart's most successful goalscorer in the Oberliga Süd with 11 goals. In 1960 he switched to the city rivals Stuttgarter Kickers who had just been relegated to the II. Division and from there after the 1962/63 round - he and his teammates Herbert Binder , Herbert Dienelt , Pál Csernai , Ludwig Hinterstocker and Rolf Steeb were sixth in the 2nd league occupied - to SSV Reutlingen 05 who played from 1963/64 in the then newly founded second-class Regionalliga Süd . In the 1964/65 round, the center forward (22 goals) with coach Georg Wurzer and the SSV finished second behind the champions and promoted players in the Bundesliga, FC Bayern Munich , and thus moved into the Bundesliga promotion round. On June 13, 1965, Reutlingen wrestled the later Bundesliga promoted Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Kreuzeiche from a 1-1 draw. Reutlingen only qualified for the promotion round against Mönchengladbach, Kiel and Worms through two games against Nordvize FC St. Pauli .

After Tagliaferri left the higher divisions at the age of 31 in 1966 with his move to SpVgg Besigheim, he finally ended his active career in 1968.
