Herbert Dienelt (born July 31, 1938 ) is a former German football player and coach.

career

player

Dienelt comes from the youth of the Stuttgarter Kickers . Between 1957 and 1970 he played for the club in the Oberliga Süd , the 2nd Oberliga Süd and the Regionalliga Süd . With 403 competitive games in which the defender scored 35 goals, he is the player with the most appearances for the club after 1945. The defender in the World Cup system at that time made his debut on January 6, 1957 in a 1-1 away draw against Freiburg FC in the first-class Oberliga Süd. In addition to fellow players such as Helmut Zatopek , Helmut Rühle , Hans Eberle , Siegfried Kronenbitter and Rolf Geiger , Dienelt played 12 league games (1 goal) and the Kickers took 14th place under coach Oswald Pfau . At the end of the round, the talented football player played an U 23 international match for Germany on May 26, 1957 . In Bayreuth, Germany and Czechoslovakia parted 1: 1 and Dienelt and Hermann Höfer formed the final triangle of the DFB team in front of goalkeeper Fritz Ewert . He experienced with the "blues" in 1958 and 1960 two relegations from the league and in 1959 the championship in the 2nd league south . He spent three seasons, 1960/61 to 1962/63, with his club in the 2nd League South, before the era of the second-rate Regionalliga South began in 1963/64. There he came under coach Georg Wurzer in the years 1967 to 1969 three times in a row to the 4th place and scored nine goals as a defender 1966/67. He distinguished himself as a sure penalty taker.

After this long time with the Kickers , he moved to SC Geislingen before he ended his active career in 1973 at FV Neuhausen .

Trainer

In the 1970/71 season Dienelt trained the amateurs of the Stuttgarter Kickers . In January 1976 he took over the coaching position at FV Neuhausen , but only stayed until the end of the season. Later he coached the Stuttgarter SC and the SpVgg Renningen . In 1983 he went to SV Bonlanden , which he was in charge of until 1987. He then went to GSV Maichingen , and in 1991 to TSF Ditzingen . From 1993 to 1999 he coached SV Böblingen.
