The Ko-iwa ( transcription from Japanese 小 岩 'Little Rock' , Norwegian Veslenuten ) is a rock formation on the Crown Prince Olav Coast in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises 5.5 km west of the Oku-iwa Glacier .
Aerial photographs and measurements of a Japanese Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1957 to 1962, during which the descriptive naming was also made, were used to map it.
