Ko Seung-hwan (born November 14, 1997 ) is a South Korean sprinter .

Athletic career

Ko Seung-hwan gained his first international experience at the U20 World Championships 2016 in Bydgoszcz , where he was eliminated in the semifinals of the 100-meter run with 21.50 seconds . The following year he retired from the Summer Universiade in Taipei over 100 meters, in the 200-meter run and with the 4-by-100 and 4-by-400-meter relay in the first round. Two years later he finished fifth over 200 meters at the Asian Championships in Doha in 20.94 s. In addition, he qualified with the relay for the finale, in which it no longer started. He then took part in the Summer Universiade in Naples for the first time over 200 meters , where he finished seventh in 21.09 s and the bronze medal behind Japan in 39.31 s with the Korean 4 x 100 meter relay and China won.

In 2020 , Ko became the South Korean champion in the 200-meter run and in the 4-by-400-meter relay.
