The Kobenbach is a right tributary of the Moselle in Trier . It has a length of 2.175 kilometers, a water catchment area of 1.808 square kilometers and the river code number 26514.
It rises at about 280 meters above sea level between Konz and Trier , flows past the Löllberg and flows into the Moselle near the Estricher Hof . A right side water of the Kobenbach is the Mattheiser Sauerbrunnen Römersprudel.
The name "Kob" or "Koben" means something like " raven " or "raven" and comes from the French "corbeau".
