Kodjovi Djikopor Mawuena (born December 31, 1959 in Tsévié ) is a Togolese football coach and former national player. He is assistant coach of the Togolese national soccer team and has been responsible for the team as national trainer at times over the past few years.

In his time as an active player (position: defender ), he led the Togolese national team in the 1984 African Cup as team captain .

At the African Cup of Nations in 2000 , he replaced Gottlieb Göller as national coach, who resigned after the first game.

During the 2006 World Cup he was a member of the Togolese coaching staff. When coach Otto Pfister and his assistant Piet Hamberg resigned on June 9 due to an unresolved bonus dispute, Mawuena, who had previously acted as the second assistant coach, took over the position of coach on an interim basis. However, he led only one training session, as Otto Pfister returned to his post on June 12th.

In qualifying for the African Nations Cup 2009, the Togolese national team lost to Ghana in May 2008 under his leadership .

After Henri Stambouli left the Togolese national team as a coach in 2008, Mawuena took over his duties for six months. During this time he led the Togolese national team in qualifying for the 2010 African Cup of Nations to win against the Swaziland national football team . Despite qualifying, the team did not take part in the African Championship after an attack on their bus under pressure from the Togolese government.

In addition, Mawuena also coached various football teams of the Togolese football league, including Dynamic Togolais ( Lomé ). In 2004 he was voted “Coach of the Year” in his home country.
