Koen de Voegt

Koen de Voegt (born April 13, 1980 in Antwerp ) is a Belgian politician of the Pirate Party Belgium (PPBe). In 2014/15 he was co-chair of the international umbrella organization of pirate parties ( Pirate Parties International (PPI)).

education

Koen de Voegt attended the Sint-Agnesinstituut Hoboken, then until 1999 the Royal Atheneum Hoboken ( Koninklijk Atheneum Hoboken ) and then until 2002 the Karel de Grote-Hogeschool , all in Antwerp. He completed a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at the HOGent in Ghent by 2006 . From 2007 to 2008 she completed a master’s degree in business administration .

Political activity

Koen de Voegt joined the PPBe in Ghent in October 2011 and was one of the first members of the PPBe provincial association. In January 2012 he was a co-founder of the Antwerp Provincial Association of Antwerp Pirates , in which he acts as "captain". On April 13, 2014 he was elected to the dual leadership of the PPI board alongside the Croatian Maša Utković-Čorak at the PPI conference in Paris .
