The Kogluktokoluk Brook is an approximately 21 km long tributary of the Labrador Sea in the northeast of the Labrador Peninsula in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador .

River course

The Kogluktokoluk Brook forms the outflow of the approximately 20  m high and 4.7 km long Trout Lake . Its main tributary is the Igluvigaluk Brook . The Kogluktokoluk Brook flows mainly in an easterly direction. At river kilometer 8.5 the Ikadlivik Brook flows into the river from the left and the outflow of Makhavinekh Lake from the right. This finally flows into Voisey's Bay , 37 km southwest of Nain . The catchment area of the Kogluktokoluk Brook covers 1095 km².

Fish fauna

Atlantic salmon and arctic char use the Kogluktokoluk Brook to Trout Lake and the Ikadlivik Brook as spawning waters .
