The Kohlschwarzbach is a 3 kilometer long right tributary of the Ofenbach in Styria .

The Kohlschwarzbach arises in the southeastern part of the municipality Kainach near Voitsberg , in the northeastern part of the cadastral municipality Kohlschwarz , west of Hof Wilhelm on the northeast slope of the Kohlschwarzkogel . It flows first in a flat right curve, then in a flat left curve all in all to the southeast. At the border of the cadastral communities Kohlschwarz and Hochtregist , it flows northeast of the village of Afling , east of Hof Weglenz and southwest of Hof Kölbl into the Ofenbach , which was previously known as Tötzelbach.

On its course, the Kohlschwarzbach takes on six unnamed watercourses from the left and seven from the right.
