The Koltermann Peak is a 2166 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises west of the Olympus Range in the eastern part of the McAllister Hills .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2004 after Major David Koltermann of the 109th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard , co-pilot of a Lockheed C-130 on a flight from McMurdo Station to Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station on October 16, 1999 .
