In computer games , a combo or English combo (short for combination) is a series of actions that are carried out one after the other to cause a certain event. Usually this is done by pressing certain key combinations under a time limit, which give the player a significant advantage or special attack. They are usually stronger than the standard attacks, but also more difficult to execute and usually require more effort.

The first game to support combos was Flash Boy from 1981, which was released for the DECO Cassette System . Combos became famous through the game Renegade from 1986 and Double Dragon from 1987.
