Comic stories with Georg Thomalla is an ARD comedy television series that was broadcast from 1961 to 1971. The comedian and actor Georg Thomalla plays the typical "little man" with his everyday problems in the twelve episodes in different roles.

action

In the twelve self-contained episodes, Georg Thomalla plays the average German citizen with his weaknesses and inadequacies. Again and again he gets into strange situations, for example in a striking elevator, as a "brave" blood donor, as a radio announcer or when arranging a partnership.

background

The scripts for the British television series Hancock (1961) by Alan Simpson and Ray Galton, which were translated into German, served as the basis for this series. In 1961 and 1962, a total of four episodes produced in black and white were broadcast. It was not until 1969 and 1971 that there were eight more color episodes in which Georg Thomalla played the role of Tommi throughout.
