Korbinian Köberle

Korbinian Köberle (born December 1, 1924 in Augsburg ) is a German director , screenwriter and actor .

Live and act

After participating in the Second World War and the ensuing captivity, Korbinian Köberle completed his training as an actor in 1948 at the Zerboni Drama School in Gauting . At first he practiced this profession in Esslingen , but then turned to directing. He started out as assistant director to Erich-Fritz Brücklmeier at the Stuttgart State Theater , where he also initially worked as an actor. He made his debut in 1954 with the production of Pygmalion at the Kammerspiele Worms. From 1955 he worked as an assistant director at the Bavarian and later as a director at the Süddeutscher Rundfunk . In 1962 he switched to ZDF , where he mainly worked in the comedy and documentary genres . He has also worked repeatedly as a screenwriter for television films and series.
