The Partia Komuniste e Shqipërisë 8 Nëntori ( Albanian for "Communist Party of Albania November 8"; acronym: PKN ) is a communist party in Albania that was founded in 2003. The party leader is Preng Çuni .

The small party should not be confused with the Communist Party of Albania, which emerged in 1991 from the Party of Labor of Albania .

Election results

In the 2007 local elections in Albania , three candidates won seats in the cities of Cërrik , Tunja (now Gramsh ) and Balldre .

Between 2013 and 2017 the party supported the coalition Alliance for a European Albania of the party leader of the Partia Socialiste e Shqipërisë , Edi Rama .

In the parliamentary elections in June 2013 , the party failed to get a seat in parliament with 1,352 votes (0.08%).
