Komola Umarova (born October 23, 1999 ) is an Uzbek tennis player .

Career

Umarova started playing tennis at the age of seven. So far, she has mainly played at tournaments on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour .

She completed her first ITF tournament in Qarshi in April 2014 . In September 2016 she received a wildcard for the main draw in singles and doubles at the Tashkent Open 2016 , a tournament on the WTA Tour . In the singles she was defeated by Nao Hibino 3: 6 and 1: 6, in doubles with her partner Arina Folts to the top seeded Ukrainian siblings Ljudmyla and Nadija Kitschenok also in the first round with 4: 6 and 0: 6.

In 2017 Umarova played for the Uzbek Fed Cup team for the first time ; their Fed Cup record shows so far 2 wins with no defeat.
