The Konakovo Power Plant ( Konakowskaja GRES , Russian Конаковская ГРЭС ) is a natural gas-fired thermal power plant near the city of Konakowo in Tver Oblast , Russia.
The power plant, built in 1969, has an output of 2520 MW and consists of four blocks .
A special feature of Konakovskaya GRES is that two of the three chimneys also serve as overhead line masts for the power lines going out from the power plant.
