River course

The Konin runs Rajon Tuguro-Tschumikanski . The Konin rises at a height of about 600  m on the southern flank of the Algebirge . The headwaters are 50 km northwest of the village of Tugur . The Konin flows in a southerly direction through a wide valley . It shows a strongly meandering behavior with countless narrow river loops and oxbow lakes . At river kilometer 99 the Chichak meets the Konin on the right side. 34 km above the mouth, the Konin receives its largest tributary, the Munikan , on the right. After another 9 kilometers, the Talin also meets the Konin from the right. This eventually unites with the Assyni to form the Tugur near the Burukan residential area . The Konin drains an area of 5490 km².
