The Konowo Forest Park (spelling variant: Kenowore Forest Park ) is a forest area in the West African state of Gambia .
topography
The 67 hectare forest area is located in the Lower River Region in the Kiang East District and was set up like the other Forest Parks in Gambia on January 1, 1954. The approximately 1,270 meters long and approximately 550 meters wide area is two kilometers away on the northern side of the South Bank Road , Gambia's main highway, around 17 kilometers west of the city of Soma .
