Konrad Haller

Konrad Haller (* 1486 ; † October 12, 1525 ) was the librarian of the St. Gallen monastery from 1523 to 1525 .

Konrad Haller came from Wil . He made his profession in 1509. On April 7, 1523 Abbot Franz von Gaisberg appointed him custos. In this function he was also responsible for the monastery library . He appeared as the author of several writings, including a missal , the Officia propria S. Galli , a Vita of Notker Balbulus , German sermons on Bonaventura's work Lignum Vitae (Tree of Life) as well as spiritual reflections and devotional books.
