Konrad Königswieser

Konrad Königswieser (born April 30, 1903 , † December 31, 1967 ) was an Austrian bank manager . He was Austrian governor of the Order of Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem .

Life

Königswieser studied economics and graduated as a business graduate. Later he was general director of the Raiffeisen-Zentralkasse Steiermark in Graz and later deputy chairman of the board of directors of the Genossenschaftliche Zentralbank Aktiengesellschaft in Vienna.

He was chairman of the Catholic Action and Styrian contact person for the Working Group for Public Affairs of the Catholic Action.

He is buried in the St. Leonhard Cemetery in Graz .

Memberships

Konrad Königswieser was a member of the Catholic student association K.Ö.St.V. Rudolfina Vienna and K.Ö.HV Carolina Graz in the ÖCV , whose chairman of the old gentlemen's association 1953/54.

Königswieser was appointed governor of the Austrian province of the Order of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem in 1963 by Cardinal Grand Master Eugène Tisserant and with the help of Salzburg Archbishop Andreas Rohracher .
