Konrad Littmann
Konrad Littmann (born December 24, 1923 in Premnitz , † 2009 in Hamburg ) was a German economist .
Life
On 16 February 1952 he was in Munster for Dr. rer. pole. PhD . In 1956 , he qualified as a professor at the University of Münster in political economics. In 1961 he accepted an appointment as full professor at the Free University of Berlin and in 1967 he moved to the University of Hamburg . There he was full professor of economics, director of the social and economic seminar and the institute for public finance (1967–1970, 1972–1975) and vice president of the University of Hamburg (1972–1973). From 1975 to 1990 he taught at the chair for economic political science, in particular public finance, regional science and public economics at the University of Administrative Sciences Speyer .
Littmann was a member of the Commission for Economic and Social Change set up by the Federal Republic of Germany in 1971 and of the Expert Commission on Old-Age Security Systems formed in 1981 .
