Konrad Reif (politician)

Konrad Reif (born December 15, 1887 in Vienna ; † October 13, 1963 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SDAP ) and federal official. From 1932 to 1934 Reif was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

After elementary school, Reif attended the community school and then a secondary school. He completed his school education with the Matura and entered the service of the postal savings bank. In 1923, Reif was retired due to austerity measures and never returned to service. Reif represented the Social Democratic Labor Party between May 21, 1932 and February 16, 1934 in the Lower Austrian state parliament, whereby his mandate expired in 1934 due to the SDAP's ban.

During the time of Austrofascism , he was one of the few social democratic politicians who joined Ernst Karl Winter 's "Aktion Winter" .
