Konrad Wutke

Konrad Wutke (born October 2, 1861 in Berlin ; † April 6, 1951 in Uttenhofen near Ziemetshausen , district of Günzburg ) was a German archivist and historian who is known especially for his publications on the history of Silesia . His economic-historical representations are of fundamental source value today.

Wutke was director of the Prussian main state archive in Breslau from 1918 to 1927. In 1921 he was one of the founding members of the Historical Commission for Silesia , of which he became vice chairman. He was also co-editor of the Codex diplomaticus Silesiae .
