Konrad von Rechberg zu Hohenrechberg († August 5, 1473 ) was administrator of the diocese of Chur from 1440 to 1441 .

Life

Konrad came from the Swabian noble family of the Lords of Rechberg . His parents were Albrecht von Rechberg zu Hohenrechberg and Adelheid von Werdenberg . Konrad became a member of the Augsburg cathedral chapter in 1411 , studied in Heidelberg in 1413 and exchanged his canonicals in Augsburg with the canons of his brother Hans in Chur in 1420. Between 1433 and 1439 he was provost in Chur. From 1440 to 1441 Konrad was administrator of the diocese of Chur, but was not ordained a bishop . In July 1441 he resigned for health reasons in favor of the Constance cathedral dean Heinrich von Hewen and became provost of the cathedral in Constance.
