Konso (Komso, Conso, also known as Af Kareti , Afa Karatti , Duuro , Fasha , Gato , Karate , Karatti , Kareti and Kholme ) is a lowland East Cushitic language that is mainly spoken in southwest Ethiopia . It has 247,660 speakers and is not at risk.

There is no standard script for the language, which is why there is text written in both the Ethiopian script and the Latin script .
