Konstantin Adolf von Gatterburg

Konstantin Adolf Graf von Gatterburg (born July 29, 1829 in Retz ; † October 8, 1906 there ) was an Austrian nobleman, politician and member of the Lower Austrian state parliament.

Konstantin Adolf was the eldest son of Ferdinand August Freiherr von Gatterburg (1803–1906), Imperial Chamberlain, and Maria Countess von Podstatzky-Lichtenstein (1803–1864). He was the landowner of Retz and Zwölfaxing , in 1873 he acquired Braunsdorf Castle (today Sitzendorf an der Schmida ) and had it restored. Konstantin was first lieutenant in the reserve and chairman of the agricultural district association Retz 1863-1892. In 1861 he became a councilor in the old town of Retz. From 1871 to 1896 he was the representative of large estates in the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Konstantin Adolf Graf von Gatterburg married Anna Maria Sofia Countess von Gudenus (1838–1917) on May 15, 1859 . The couple had several children, the eldest son Konstantin Ferdinand inherited the property and was also a politician.
