The benefit evening in the Christ Church was about the mixed form "language and music". Konstantin Gockel exhausted the instrumental possibilities of the violin without stealing the show from Gerd J. Pohl. (...) It was eerily beautiful to cheerfully contemplative. Sometimes it got under your skin - it was just thrilling performances. (...) The audience was enthusiastic. (Bonner Rundschau of October 28, 1999 on the ballad program with Gockel and Gerd J. Pohl)
