Konstantin Karlowitsch Albrecht
Konstantin Karlowitsch Albrecht ( Russian Константин Карлович Альбрехт , originally Karl Albrecht; born October 4, 1836 in Elberfeld (now part of Wuppertal ), † June 26, 1893 in Moscow ) was a Russian composer .
Life
Konstantin Karlowitsch Albrecht was the son of the conductor and composer Karl Albrecht (1807–1863), who called himself Karl Franzewitsch Albrecht after moving to Russia . In 1854 he became a cellist at the Imperial Theater in Moscow. From 1860 he also taught as an assistant teacher at the Moscow Conservatory . From 1866 to 1889 he was inspector and teacher for solo and choral singing.
Albrecht wrote teaching works for singing lessons, piano pieces, choirs and songs .
