Konstantin Lwowsky

Konstantin Lwowsky (born January 13, 1974 ) is a German basketball coach and official.

career

Lwowsky began his career as a basketball coach in 1993 in the junior division of TuS Lichterfelde . In 2000, 2002 and 2004 "TuSLi" won the German youth championship under his leadership. In addition, Lwowsky, who studied German and sport for the teaching profession, looked after the selection teams of the Berlin Basketball Association and the men's team of TuS Lichterfelde in the 2nd basketball league . In 2005 he became an assistant coach on the staff of the Bundesliga club Alba Berlin .

In 2011 he took over the position of head coach at the Alba U16 youth team in the JBBL , in June 2013 he became the sports director of the Alba youth team, and was thus jointly responsible for the strategic and conceptual orientation of the youth performance area of ​​the Berlin club and, as part of this task, also trained Alba second men's team as well as the U19 team in the NBBL . In 2014 Albas U19 won the NBBL championship as a coach under Lwowsky. In 2017 he was named “NBBL Coach of the Year” after leading the club's U19s to the semi-finals of the German championship.

During the summer break of 2017, Lwowsky switched to the second division team Chemnitz as sporting director and from then on acted as a link between the youth and professional areas. In addition, he is a member of the examination committee for the youth coach training of the basketball Bundesliga.
