The Korg Triton was a flagship synthesizer workstation from Korg built between 1999 and 2005 with an integrated sampler and sequencer . It was the immediate successor to the very successful Korg Trinity , which was offered since 1995. It uses HI synthesis as a tone generator. This keyboard was available in different versions and with various upgrade options. The immediate successor to the Korg Triton was the Korg OASYS (2005–2011). The series continues with the Korg flagship workstation Kronos , which was introduced in 2011 .

Well-known artists who worked with the Korg Triton are Tuomas Holopainen from the band Nightwish and Mike Shinoda from the band Linkin Park , as well as David Paich from Toto .
