The Kormesiy Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Кормесий wrach Kormesij ) is a 260 m high and rocky mountain on Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 0.7 km southwest of St. Kiprian Peak , 0.75 km southeast of Drangov Peak and 0.6 km east of Ziezi Peak in Breznik Heights .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in the course of surveying the Tangra Mountains on the neighboring Livingston Island between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after Khan Kormesij , who ruled Bulgaria from 721 to 738.
