Kosie Pretorius
Jacobus Willem Francois Pretorius , known as Kosie Pretorius (born September 5, 1935 in Swakopmund , South West Africa , † July 14, 2017 in Walvis Bay ), was a Namibian politician and chairman of the conservative Monitor Action Group from 1991 to 2013 . Before that, he had been the head of the National Party of South West Africa , which was absorbed into the MAG, since 1981 .
Pretorius was a member of the Constituent Assembly of Namibia from 1989 to 1990 and a member of the Namibian National Assembly from 1990 to 2005 . He was a columnist for the Windhoek Observer . In the archive of the Basler Afrika Bibliographien there are collections on his person.
