Kosovar government

The Kosovan government ( Albanian Qeveria Kosovar , Serbian Косовска Влада Kosovska Vlada ) or officially the Government of the Republic of Kosovo (Albanian Qeveria e Republikës së Kosovës , Serbian Влада Републике Косово / Vlada Republike Kosovo ) than Gubernative part of the executive branch of the Republic of Kosovo and according to Constitution one of the three state powers . The seat of government is the capital Pristina .
Electoral process
Article 95 of Chapter 4 of the Constitution governs the election of the Kosovar government:
After a parliamentary election, the President proposes a candidate to Parliament for the post of Prime Minister . In doing so, he consults with the party or coalition that emerged as the winner of the election. Within fifteen days of this meeting with the President, the candidate must present to Parliament the composition of his proposed government. The government is elected if it supports a simple majority of all MPs.
If the proposed composition of the government does not achieve the necessary simple majority in parliament, the procedure is repeated and the president, in consultation with the strongest party or coalition, proposes another candidate to parliament.
After a successful election, members of the government must take an oath in parliament.
Prime Minister
The Prime Minister (Albanian Kryeministri , Serbian Премијер / Premijer ) is the government chairman . Since February 4, 2020 this is Albin Kurti ( LVV ).
