The Kotheberg is a mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is the southeasternmost peak of the Lawrence Peaks in the Victory Mountains . Its un-iced south-east flank towers over the Seafarer Glacier at its confluence with the Mariner Glacier .
Scientists from the German expedition GANOVEX III (1982–1983) made his name. It is named after Jürgen Kothe, logistician for this research trip.
Neighboring peaks are the Schnidrighorn in the west, the Brandalberg in the northwest and the Pedersenberg in the north.
